Appointment is a kind of expression which is used to conduct an appointment.

Kinds of Appointment Expressions are :

1.          Making an Appointment

·        I’d like to make an appointment with (Cody).

·        I want to make an appointment to see (Lucy).

·        I’d like you to come and see me.

·        Can I come and see you?

·        I’ll be there.

·        What about.....

·        Can we meet at (2 p.m.) ?

·        Will you pick me up at (3 p.m.) ?

·        What if we go cycling on the car free day next Sunday?

·        Will you go out with me tonight?

·        What if we go swimming this afternoon?

·        I’ll go to your house at (4 p.m.). Is it alright?

2.        Accepting an Appointment

·        Alright, see you there.

·        No problem. I’m free on (Sunday).

·        I’ll wait for you there.

·        It’s a deal.

·        Ok. I’ll be there on time.

·        Sure. I love it.

·        Good idea.

·        Definitely!

·        Yes, I’ll come.

·        Surely!

3.       Cancelling an Appointment

·       I’m sorry, I can’t.

·       I’m sorry, I’m very busy.

·       I’m terribly sorry. I have to put off my appointment.

·       I’m sorry, I can’t come to meet you because I must to do something.

·       I’m afraid I have to postpone my appointment with (Jack) tomorrow morning.

·       I’m sorry, I can’t meet you today. I have to see my dentist. Can we reschedule?

·       We’re terribly sorry we have to cancel our appointment. Mr. Tanaka’s flight is delayed for two hours.

·       I’m afraid I have to put off our appointment because I have an urgent business to do.

·       Sorry, I can’t meet you this weekend since I have another appointment.

4.       Changing an Appointment

·       What about (Sunday at 5 p.m.) ?

·       Is that ok if we meet at (8 a.m)tomorrow?

·       Well, I must be off now. I’ll talk to you later.
