An announcement is something said, written or printed to make known what has happened or (more often) what will happen and has function to state an information about an event that has happened or going to happen and to states office policies or practice limitations to the public and profession.

An announcement is often using Simple Present Tense or Simple Future Tense.

Where usually we can find announcement?

Ok it’s the most easiest question! We can find it on the radio, TV, newspapers, wall magazine, etc.

By the way, in writing an announcement, keep the following points :

Opening/The title/Type of event

Date/time, Place
